Wravem Remnants

Once known as the Wravem Empire, they controlled the entirety of the continent. Twenty-four generations have passed since the empire's sudden collapse, and Emperor Adiel Mast XXIII rules from the imperial seat at Tharef. The family's motto, which used to be "Ever strong and ever just" was changed ten generations ago to "We shall ever rise"

The Collapse

The collapse happened suddenly and with little warning; the imperial legions just seemed to disappear from the far-flung provinces of the empire overnight. Local elites, now having to protect themselves with no support from the emperor, began to amass power and influence over their regions. These then emerged into many of the powers we see today:
