Athenaeum of the Far Realms

No one knows the true and full extents of the vaults and libraries that compose the Athenaeum of the Far Realms. Grandmaster Demas heads the Athenaeum. Tomes, scrolls, and even clay tablets make up most of the collection, which predates almost every nation on Liras. Lore, mystical and arcane, trickles out of the Athenaeum at a pace only the Masters know the reason of.

A large, professional army protects the Athenaeum from attack. Rumors circulate widely that should the army fail to keep the Athenaum safe, the Masters would turn their lore-bolstered magics on their foes to cataclysmic results.
